From the desert, to the cloud.

Let’s build something powerful together.

Supporting education and innovation.

The Cloud Trail Project envisions a future where Sahrawi refugees transform their circumstances through digital skills and remote work opportunities. Named in honor of the nomadic tradition of following clouds in search of rain, we now follow knowledge as the new source of survival and growth.

We believe technology and education can bridge isolation, creating pathways to economic independence that transcend geographical limitations. By equipping youth and women with digital skills, we aim to build a self-sustaining ecosystem where learning leads to earning, dignity, and community transformation.

Materials for Learning

Digital education requires proper tools and resources. We work to ensure students have access to current equipment, curriculum, and internet connectivity that supports their learning journey from basic skills to advanced specialization.

Our learning materials blend global digital standards with content that respects and incorporates Sahrawi culture and context, making technology relevant to local needs while opening doors to global opportunities.

Continuing Education for Teachers

We create bespoke training programs to empower local instructors with the skills to lead digital education effectively. From technical knowledge to pedagogical methods, we help teachers build engaging and effective learning environments.

Our teacher development model includes ongoing mentorship, connecting Sahrawi instructors with global tech professionals who provide guidance, curriculum support, and industry insights.

Support for Communities

Education happens within the context of the entire refugee camp ecosystem. Our approach extends beyond the classroom to help ensure students have the necessary support for success, including:

  • Family engagement programs to build understanding of digital careers

  • Community tech hubs where graduates can work and collaborate

  • Infrastructure improvements to support reliable power and connectivity

  • Partnerships with local organizations to reinforce and sustain tech initiatives

"With digital skills, we can work from anywhere, building futures that honor our heritage while embracing global opportunity."
